'PinkyParadise' Geo HoliCat Barbie Cat Hazel Review

Hey cuties!

I'm reviewing another pair of lenses from my favourite circle lens company PinkyParadise today :) They're called 'Geo HoliCat Barbie Cat Hazel' and I chose them to cosplay Kotori ❤

The lenses came securely wrapped along with a cute macaroon lens case and a random free gift (this hair clip thingy keeps your fringe out of your face while doing your make up! Really useful) The little box the lenses came in is so cute! You'll just need to store the lenses in the macaroon case as they don't come in vials :)

[ Colour ]

These lenses are a soft hazel that blends pretty well with my natural eye colour. The limbal ring is a dark brown so looks more natural than lenses with black rings. The colour isn't very bright but I really love how natural they look, so if you're after some hazel lenses that look more realistic you'll like these :)

[ Enlargement ]

They're only 14.5mm wide so not as big as other lenses, but they still definitely make your eyes look big and dolly like because of the limbal ring.

[ Comfort ]

Super comfortable, after a few blinks I couldn't tell I was wearing lenses at all! Could easily wear these all day at a con.

Like I said before I picked these to wear as Kotori, I think they're perfect for her! ^_^ I reviewed the wig I'm wearing here~

So yeah! These lenses are super pretty, I highly recommend them if you want some natural but still large hazel circle lenses for cosplay or lolita :)

'Ruler Cosplay' Kotori Wig Review

Hello again! (✿◠‿◠)

Another review so quickly! I have some spare time over the summer to make these, yay ^_^ Today I'm reviewing a Kotori wig sent to me from Ruler Cosplay! Kotori is my best girl so I have to cosplay her :p

The wig came nice and fast and neatly packed with their logo on the bag. Very helpful to find it amongst all my wigs haha :p

[ photos ]

The side ponytail is a separate part that you clip onto the base wig. I love this as it creates a lot of volume! Also, this is a small thing but a big deal for me - the fringe was already styled!! Usually the fringe is never styled so this was a pleasant surprise. I chucked on the wig straight from the bag and it was ready to go :D

5 stars! The colour is a mousy brown/light blonde, it's perfect for Kotori who has a very specific hair colour.

Super comfortable, easily fit all my hair underneath the wig cap and it wasn't too tight or anything. Could easily wear this all day at a con ^_^

Another 5 stars, this wig is super soft and barely tangled. Any tangles I got wearing it were easily brushed out. I love how thick it is, great for Kotori because she has so much hair!

I wore this wig cosplaying Kotori in her idolised Chinese outfit! I also reviewed the lenses I'm wearing here ( ﾉ^ω^)ﾉﾟ

So in summary - I love this wig!! It's really accurate to Kotori's kinda weird hairstyle and colour with lots of volume and soft fibers that don't tangle. I highly recommend it! ♥

'Miccostumes' Serena Cosplay + Wig Review

Hey cuties! ♥

Another costume review today! Miccostumes sent me their Serena costume and wig to review, as someone who grew up playing Pokemon I was super excited about this costume!

The costume came really fast - only took about 10 days to New Zealand and most things usually take 3 weeks to get here from other countries //cries//

It came neatly packed in a signature bag, I really love these because I keep them to store the costume in ^_^

[ HAT + GLASSES ]

The hat and glasses are super cute! The sunglasses can be worn as normal sunglasses outside of cosplay too. The hat was a bit small though - it fit, but I needed to keep tugging it down. Maybe I just have a big head! Haha :p So keep in mind you may want to buy a separate hat :)

 [ COSTUME ]

I'm so impressed by the quality of this costume - it's very well constructed, the fabric is sturdy and it's really comfortable. Both the shirt and skirt could easily be worn as normal clothes.

The shirt is a soft cotton with a stiff interfaced collar, easy to slip on and off. The skirt is a stiffer cotton that ironed really nicely with the waistband interfaced and a zip up the side. Oh and the pocket is real! BONUS :D

Like I said before, really impressed with the quality of this costume. It's just really nice! Well made with good quality fabric, 5 stars from me!

The costume itself is super comfy, I even went rollerblading in it for a photoshoot ^_^ Just missing half a star because the hat was too tight, but other than that the costume was perfectly fine :)

Looks exactly like Serena!! All the colours are right on the costume and the collar/skirt design are all accurate. The sunglasses are perfect too. Just taking off half a star because the hat should be flat on top, but that's a pretty small detail. Otherwise it's perfect!

I love the colour of this wig! It's a gorgeous golden blonde, looks quite natural and is perfect for Serena :)

This wig had quite a large cap, I was happy I could easily fit all my hair underneath it! It was really comfortable, could easily wear it all day.

This fibres in this wig are so soft!! It was really easy to brush and barely tangled after I wore it for a photoshoot. It's just such a pretty wig!

Overall - I love this costume! If you're looking for a Serena costume I highly recommend it, or if you're looking for costumes in general Miccostumes would be a great choice, the quality is great and they were really easy to communicate with as well as super fast shipping. 'RoleCos' Hell Girl Cosplay Review

Happy new year!! (ღˇ◡ˇ)~♥

My first review of 2017 and my first costume review! Exciting stuff ^_^ Role Cosplay were kind enough to send me their Hell Girl costume to review, I was really excited about this because Hell Girl was one of the first animes I ever watched ♥

The costume arrived super quick and they have their own parcels so I knew straight away what it was (and it's a cute design too!) It was all neatly packed and clearly labeled, very professional!

The skirt has knife pleats and zips up at the back. I was pleasantly surprised to see it had a petticoat in the form of shorts - no flashing! Really clever and comfortable.

As you can see the whole costume looks great altogether! The collar clips open and closed so you can fit it over your head and the tie is removable. Sometimes seifuku come with a fake tie so I was happy to see this one is real. There is also a zip up the side of the shirt to make it easier to get it on and off as well.

They also sent some accessories! The socks were a bit long so I folded them down, but other than that they were perfect and super comfortable, one less thing to worry about purchasing. They also sent me these cute badges, I love the one with Ai on it especially! ♥

[ quality ]

Giving 4 and a half stars for quality! It is really well made - it's lined, has fitting darts, the edges are fully overlocked with no fraying edges. Just missing half a mark because you can still tell it's a costume and not a real school uniform that is made to be worn every day (the fabric isn't as thick as real uniforms) - but given this is cosplay outfit that's not a problem!

Super comfortable, the fabric is nice and soft and I had no problem moving around and sitting while wearing it. When I wore the costume I bound my chest a bit for character accuracy and it looked great! You may want to order a size up though - I ordered a L with my waist being the right size and I couldn't quite get the zip up. No problem since the shirt covered the top of the skirt but just something to keep in mind!

The costume is perfectly accurate - and this is something I'm fussy about :p The shirt and skirt are the right lengths, the collar and ribbons were right and the tie is the right shade of red. Spot on :)

I had a quick little shoot last week, I'll add the photos to this review once I get them but in the meantime here's a selfie I took wearing the costume! Do I look creepy? Hehe~

Overall I really love the costume and I'll definitely wear it a few times. If you're looking for an accurate and comfortable Hell Girl costume, go for this one! Thank you Role Cosplay! ♥
