'PinkyParadise' Geo HoliCat Barbie Cat Hazel Review

Hey cuties!
I'm reviewing another pair of lenses from my favourite circle lens company PinkyParadise today :) They're called 'Geo HoliCat Barbie Cat Hazel' and I chose them to cosplay Kotori

[ lens info ]
Brand / GEO
Origin / South Korea
Diameter / 14.5mm
Base Curve / 8.7mm
Water Content / 40%
Life Span / Monthly
Prescription / -0.00 ~ -8.00

The lenses came securely wrapped along with a cute macaroon lens case and a random free gift (this hair clip thingy keeps your fringe out of your face while doing your make up! Really useful) The little box the lenses came in is so cute! You'll just need to store the lenses in the macaroon case as they don't come in vials :)

[ Colour ]
These lenses are a soft hazel that blends pretty well with my natural eye colour. The limbal ring is a dark brown so looks more natural than lenses with black rings. The colour isn't very bright but I really love how natural they look, so if you're after some hazel lenses that look more realistic you'll like these :)

[ Enlargement ]
They're only 14.5mm wide so not as big as other lenses, but they still definitely make your eyes look big and dolly like because of the limbal ring.

[ Comfort ]
Super comfortable, after a few blinks I couldn't tell I was wearing lenses at all! Could easily wear these all day at a con.

Like I said before I picked these to wear as Kotori, I think they're perfect for her! ^_^ I reviewed the wig I'm wearing here~

[ cosplay photos ]

So yeah! These lenses are super pretty, I highly recommend them if you want some natural but still large hazel circle lenses for cosplay or lolita :)

Vassen / i.fairy Jewel Brown Review

Hello~! (^3^)
Today I'm reviewing a pair of lenses from an older favourite series of mine, i.fairy's Jewel Brown ❤ (aka Vassen Jewel Brown) You can find these at PinkyParadise!

[ Lens Info ]
Brand / i.fairy / Vassen
Origin / South Korea
Diameter / 16.2mm
Base Curve / 8.6mm
Water Content / 42%
Life Span / Yearly

[ Close up photos ]

(sorry I forgot the indoors photo! orz)

[ Colour ]
These lenses are a soft hazel with a darker brown limbal ring, I think the shade is quite pretty! They blend quite nicely with my real eye colour, so even though you can see a bit of blue poking through the lenses still like quite natural. I specifically wear these when I cosplay characters with light brown/honey coloured eyes :3

[ Enlargement ]
Safe to say these lenses are huge! Even though they don't have a solid limbal ring like other circle lenses they will still make your eyes look much larger, just with a softer look.

[ Comfort ]
I never have any issues with i.fairy's lenses, after a few blinks I can't even tell I'm wearing them :)

I'm cosplaying Saya Takagi from Highschool of the Dead wearing these! The anime is ridiculous but I love it :D

[ Cosplay photos ]

All in all I think these are a gorgeous pair of light brown circle lenses that look really good on naturally light eyes!

Also don't forget if you shop at PinkyParadise to use my code 'TailsCosplay' for a cute free animal lense case and mystery gift!

EOS Ice Blue Review

Hello hello!
First entry of the new year! Today I'm reviewing some really pretty lenses, EOS Ice in blue! You can find these at PinkyParadise (っ'з')っ

[ Lens Info ]
Brand / EOS
Origin / South Korea
Diameter / 14.8mm
Base Curve / 8.8mm
Water Content / 38%
Life Span / Yearly

[ Close up photos ]

[ Colour ]
These lenses are a super pretty sky blue with a thin black limbal ring that blend in perfectly with my natural colour! The blue isn't solid, it has a few different shades that makes them look more natural. Also the inner ring of the blue is a bit jagged and fades which helps it blend in too! These lenses are PERFECT for naturally light eyes!

[ Enlargement ]
The black limbal ring is quite thin and also jagged, so while they still make your eyes look bigger and super dolly they look quite natural for circle lenses and are smaller than others I've tried. I wouldn't buy these for enlargement, but I was fine with this though because I thought they'd look pretty and they do! So gorgeous lenses, but if looking for huge blue eyes check out some of the other blue lenses I've reviewed (^3^)

[ Comfort ]
These lenses are sooo comfortable I can't tell I'm wearing them at all! EOS lenses have always been really easy to wear :)

Wearing these as Asuka from Neon Genesis! I love her

[ Cosplay photos ]

So yeah! I highly recommend these lenses if you have naturally light eyes or are looking for a slightly toned down dolly look. They're just so pretty (≧◡≦)

Vassen / i.fairy Nova Green Review

Hello!
Today I'm reviewing another colour from my favourite series right now, Vassen Nova Green (also known as i.fairy Nova Green) They are just so pretty! You can pick up your own pair from PinkyParadise :)

[ Lens Info ]
Brand / Vassen
Origin / South Korea
Diameter / 14.5mm
Base Curve / 8.6mm
Water Content / 42%
Life Span / Yearly

[ Close up photos ]

[ Colour ]
Giving these 5 stars for colour because I absolutely love the way they look on my eyes! The green blends seamlessly with my natural light blue colour, I'm so happy to find a pair like these. The green itself is quite pretty too, not super bold but still good for anime cosplay because of the black limbal ring.

[ Enlargement ]
I think it goes without saying that these lenses are massive! Another reason they are my favourite, I love having huge cartoon eyes when cosplaying ^_^ If you're considering these for casual wear I'd say with these you have to wear falsies as well to balance them out or you'd look a bit alien :3

[ Comfort ]
As always with this brand, 5 stars for comfort! They went in easy and I couldn't feel them at all. Could easily wear them all day.

For this review I'm cosplaying Crysta from Fern Gully! Did you watch that movie as a kid? It'll always be one of my favourites

[ Cosplay photos ]

Perfect score because I love these lenses! I recommend them for any look where you want huge eyes but with a natural shade of green :)

Vassen / i.fairy Nova Blue Review

Hello!
Today I'm reviewing my favourite pair of lenses right now, Vassen Nova blue (also known as i.fairy Nova Blue) You can get these gorgeous lenses at PinkyParadise

[ Lens Info ]
Brand / Vassen
Origin / South Korea
Diameter / 14.5mm
Base Curve / 8.6mm
Water Content / 42%
Life Span / Yearly

[ Close up photos ]

[ Colour ]

The colour is such a pretty sky blue, it blends in perfectly with my natural blue/grey eyes. I originally got these to cosplay Usagi from Sailor Moon Crystal, and they're perfect! I highly recommend these for anime character cosplays ^_^ While the limbal ring is black, it is lot a solid line. It wavers a bit on the inside which I really liked - it gives that anime look without looking too fake.

[ Enlargement ]

As you can see, these lenses make your eyes huge! They're probably the biggest looking lenses I own, with the limbal ring making them look bigger. You'll definitely need to wear falsies with these to balance them out.

[ Comfort ]

They are so comfortable and easy to put in! I popped them in in a second and I couldn't tell I was wearing them at all. Usually with lenses I need to blink a lot to get used to them but these ones felt invisible. I highly recommend this brand for sensitive eyes!

For this review I'm cosplaying Sayaka Maizono from Dangan Ronpa! (such an awesome game!) Here are some photos to show what the lenses look like with make up :3

[ Cosplay photos ]

So there you have it! I gave these lenses a perfect score because I can't complain about them at all, I love them! ( ノ^ω^)ノ゚

Geo Starmish Brown / XKP-304 Review

Hello~!
Welcome to my first circle lens review on my new blog, yay! ( ノ^ω^)ノ゚
Today I'm reviewing a pair of Geo Starmish Brown (also known as XKP-304) lenses that PinkyParadise were kind enough to sponsor me

Click here to check out their store! ~

[ Lens Info ]
Brand / GEO
Origin / South Korea
Diameter / 14.5mm
Base Curve / 8.6mm
Water Content / 38%
Life Span / Yearly

Here are the lenses as they arrived, in their cute little vials with the GEO authenticity stickers. PinkyParadise sent me a free animal case to keep them in too! (I think these ones are fish?)

[ Close up photos ]

As you can see I have light blue eyes, which makes finding circle lenses that'll cover my natural colour kinda tricky sometimes. With these lenses you can still see the blue but only in direct sunlight, so I'm pretty happy with how they look on me :)

[ Colour ]
These lenses are a really pretty amber brown with a dark brown limbal ring. The ring isn't solid, it blends into the middle a bit so it looks more natural than other lenses that have a perfect circular limbal ring. The coloured part of the lenses are completely opaque, my natural colour doesn't show except for right in the middle around my pupil. Giving 5 stars because I really like the colour and it definitely 'shows up' on my eyes.

[ Enlargement ]
14.5mm is about the middle size when it comes to circle lenses. These make my eyes look much larger but are smaller than other lenses I own. They give a dolly look without being too big, so I think they'd be good for gyaru/lolita looks or cosplaying not so cutesy characters. I would only recommend them for everyday wear if you're going to do the make up to match to balance them out. (with falsies, eyeliner etc)

[ Comfort ]
Not sure if my eyes were just having a sensitive day or not but I found these lenses were somewhat tricky to put in because they seemed to dry out quickly and my eyes did ache a few hours after putting them in. In saying that, I've worn GEO lenses before all day and had no problems so it could have just been because I was tired after a day at work. I think if I tried them on in the morning for a day out they'd be more comfortable.

I originally got these to cosplay Petra from Attack on Titan, so here's my costest of her to give an idea of what they look like with cosplay make up :)

[ Cosplay photos ]

So there you go! PinkyParadise asked me to give an honest review so here it is. I'll be reviewing the rest of my lenses over the summer so stay tuned! Thank you so much for reading my first review and I hope it helps!  (especially for those of you with light eyes also, I know reviews are hard to find)
